@DeborahGoulding - Nice to see you back and hear your voice again! This story is very relevant in these difficult times, when many are questioning the “imbalance” in our society. Not sure on how to solve the problem of imbalance, but I don’t always think that “working harder” is the solution. If someone is in quicksand, the harder they struggle, the faster they go under. It seems that our society needs more of a work/life balance, less focus on materialism, and more focus on humanism.

This is such an important topic, and some of our other members usually have great ideas, so I am curious - what @CarrieOLeary, @JulianKern, @DawnRae, @GreeneWills and other @Voice.club-VIP members think about this topic of “imbalance” in our society?

Thank you Chris for your feedback. I’m glad you enjoyed my story. The title of my story does show this to be a controversial subject! Writing continues to be a great outlet for me!

This story of yours hits different, Deborah ( @DeborahGoulding ).

There are so many imbalances in this world, like our status. True, “the rich become richer, and the poor become destitute.” But who are we to complain? Instead, we need to do what we can do to make our lives better. There’s no point in complaining without doing. I really enjoyed it. Good job.

Thank you for understanding! There are so many things we should be happy with, whether we are rich, poor, or in between. Blessings come in different forms like family, friends, health, and love.

Lotchie, I appreciate your input too!
