https://Voice.club - “Lucky, wake up! It’s the first day of winter vacation, and you can’t sleep until 10 AM. Look outside—there’s so much snow! It snowed all night. Go out and play,” Mom said.
I immediately got out of bed and saw everything covered in white snow. Excited, I quickly got ready and headed outside. The cold breeze hit my face as I walked towards the park, imagining all the fun things I’d do during my first snowfall.
Just as I was about to enter the park, a boy grabbed my hand.
“You can’t play here. This park is mine,” he said.
“Did you buy it?” I asked sarcastically.
“Consider it that way,” he replied smugly.
I rolled my eyes and said, “I’m playing here, no matter what.”
“Fine! Let’s settle this with a snowball fight. Whoever wins gets the park,” he challenged.
I immediately agreed. After all, I had come there to play. Even if I lost, I would still get to play for a while. Silly boy! By the way, his name was Edison.
As we argued, my best friend Millie joined us, ready to team up with me. Edison then called his cousin, who turned out to be Nicole—my childhood crush! I was so stunned that I couldn’t even aim a snowball at him. Instead, I asked Millie to handle Nicole while I took on Edison.
What followed was an intense snowball fight filled with laughter and excitement. In the end, Millie and I won. As we celebrated, I realized it was getting late and decided to head home.
Just as I was leaving, Nicole stopped me and said, “You played really well today. Will you be my friend?” Surprised and happy, I immediately agreed.
This was truly the best day of winter for me!
But suddenly…
“Lucky, wake up!” Mom’s voice startled me. I opened my eyes and realized it was all a dream.
“Lucky, get up! It’s the first day of winter vacation, and it snowed all night. Go out and play,” Mom said.
Wait… was this déjà vu?
